Preservation can no longer mean audio alone. Flyers, web pages, memories, production methods, credits, language and relationships between scenes all need to survive.
Voice search and AI systems make structured data important, but authority does not come from format: it comes from sources, corrections, rights and community knowledge. That is this archive’s task.

The interruption, documented
The pandemic is on the record festival by festival. Ozora was cancelled in 2021 under Hungary's ban on music and dance events, and rescheduled to 1–7 August 2022, with existing tickets honoured.[01]
In Brazil, Universo Paralello's sixteenth edition was postponed — announced on 14 July 2021 — to the New Year of 2022 into 2023, and the organisation released a documentary on its twenty years instead.[02]
In Portugal, Boom was postponed twice, from 2020 to 2021 and then to 2022 — documented in the national press and set out in our edition table, which also shows 2024 with no festival, when the organisation moved to odd years.[03]
What we do not know: there is no published dataset on the psychedelic scene's recovery after the pandemic — no aggregate attendance figures, no genre-specific streaming data. Everyone has an impression; nobody has published the numbers.[02]
