Large distances and regional conditions favoured intense temporary networks. The scene connected psytrance with Australian traditions of alternative outdoor parties.
Australian scholarship also became central to documenting global culture, its rituals, technologies and temporary cities.
This record is a doorway. The archive would rather declare a gap and invite contribution than fill space with generalisations.
