Italy

Local underground culture

The Italian experience reveals the invisible labour of any scene: finding space, negotiating repression, moving sound and maintaining trust.

More than a list of artists, the history is made by promoters, travellers, sound systems and links with nearby European circuits.

This record is a doorway. The archive would rather declare a gap and invite contribution than fill space with generalisations.
