A local party and festival scene made the Czech Republic an important part of Central European circulation.
Geography supported links with German, Austrian, Polish and other circuits while local collectives retained their own identities.
Research uses this scene to show how a global culture is always rebuilt through local political, spatial and economic conditions.
This record is a doorway. The archive would rather declare a gap and invite contribution than fill space with generalisations.
